In a significant breakthrough against militancy, security forces in Turbat, Balochistan, apprehended Adila Baloch, an ethnic Baloch woman and a qualified nurse working on a project with the World Health Organization, who was allegedly planning a suicide attack.
At a press conference held in Quetta, she recounted being brainwashed by local militants engaged in combat against Pakistan security forces. She described how she was lured with false promises and later felt trapped among the militants.
Adila explained that many Baloch youths, including women, were blackmailed into committing terrorist acts, refuting narratives suggesting they willingly turned to such extremism. She urged the youth to stay away from militancy, stating that it only leads to destruction.
