Social activist Snehamayi Krishna, who is also a complainant in the ongoing land allocation scam case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, is now facing a new legal wrinkle. A 30-year-old woman from Nanjangud, Mysuru district, has accused Krishna of threatening her and her mother in connection with a property dispute involving her late husband's estate, according to police reports.
The woman’s formal complaint, lodged on August 21, alleges that the incident took place on July 18, during which Krishna threatened them with severe consequences if they did not stay away from the property dispute with her in-laws.
Responding to the charges, Krishna has dismissed them as ''fake'' and called for a thorough police investigation to establish his whereabouts at the time of the purported incident. This development comes shortly after Krishna's involvement in the Lokayukta police’s case against CM Siddaramaiah regarding the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment.
