PDP Leaders Accuse Retiring DGP of Human Rights Violations

In a severe indictment, PDP youth president Waheed Para has accused the retiring Director General of Police, R R Swain, of human rights violations.
Para, who spent nearly two years in jail on terror-related charges, asserted that he was tortured under Swain's orders and described how Swain's policing tactics have devastated lives.
Former minister Naeem Akhtar echoed Para's sentiments, accusing Swain of invading citizens' privacy and contributing to rising insurgency.
