Man Sentenced to Life for Rape and Identity Fraud

A court sentenced a 25-year-old man to life imprisonment for raping and threatening a student after falsifying his identity. The convict's 65-year-old father received two years' imprisonment for aiding his son. The case centered around identity deception, rape, and forced abortion.

A district court has handed a life imprisonment sentence to a 25-year-old individual after convicting him of raping and threatening a student under a false identity, according to a lawyer's announcement on Tuesday.

Additional Sessions Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar of the Fast Track Court-First delivered the verdict, which also includes a two-year imprisonment term for the convict's 65-year-old father, Sabir, who assisted in the crime.

Additional District Government Counsel Digambar Singh Patel revealed that the victim, a computer course student, reported that the convict, identified as Mohammad Alim, disguised himself as Anand and wore a 'kalawa' to deceive her. Alim allegedly raped the woman and threatened to release a video of the act, later coercing her into a forced abortion.
