The Lokayukta police team investigating the MUDA site allotment case involving Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah conducted a land survey on Tuesday. This move follows allegations of 14 plots being illicitly allotted to his wife, Parvathi B M.
Joined by the special land acquisition officer, surveyors, and town planning members from the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), the police team meticulously recorded their observations. Social activist Snehamayi Krishna, whose complaint triggered the FIR against Siddaramaiah and others, was also present.
Amidst the controversy, Parvathi B M has decided to relinquish the ownership of the 14 plots. Her son, MLC Yathindra Siddaramaiah, submitted her letter to MUDA Commissioner A N Raghunandan. The MUDA official stated that the request would be processed in accordance with legal provisions.
