The Netherlands is set to repatriate its citizens from Lebanon, according to Dutch news agency ANP. This move follows the initiation of raids by Israeli commando and paratroop units in southern Lebanon, which began overnight.
An Israeli security official confirmed that the raids were limited and confined to a short distance over the border. Notably, there have been no direct clashes with Iran-backed Hezbollah fighters during these operations.
This development underscores the rising tensions in the region, prompting the Netherlands to prioritize the safety of its nationals.
