Unified Employment Data Platform: Mandaviya's Vision

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has proposed the integration of national and state employment and emigration data portals for a comprehensive understanding of trends. The initiative calls for collaboration between government platforms and seeks insights from industry associations to standardize job contracts with foreign employers.

In a significant move towards streamlining employment data, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has advocated for integrating state and central government portals. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of employment and emigration trends, as announced on Tuesday in an official statement.

During a meeting, the Minister of Labour & Employment highlighted the necessity of a combined data system to track citizens traveling abroad for employment or studies. Mandaviya proposed the merger of multiple portals, including the National Career Service, MY Bharat, and eMigrate, to achieve this vision.

The minister emphasized the importance of industry collaboration and tasked NITI Aayog with compiling relevant data. The meeting also discussed the standardization of foreign employment contracts and the renewal of international partnership agreements to enhance their effectiveness.
