Family Arrested After Fatal Assault on Homeless Man Suspected of Burglary
In Rohini's Aman Vihar, a woman and her sons allegedly beat a homeless man, Sandeep, to death, suspecting him of theft. Captured attempting burglary, he was critically injured and later died. A woman and her three sons have been apprehended in connection with the death of a 30-year-old homeless man in Rohini's Aman Vihar. The man, identified as Sandeep alias Bhura, faced deadly assault following allegations of attempted burglary.
According to police reports, the family caught Sandeep in the act and attacked him with sticks, leaving him critically injured. Subsequently, they transported him in an e-rickshaw to an isolated location, where he was discovered by passersby.
Sandeep was declared dead at SGM Hospital. The police have detained the suspects under charges of group murder, as they work on piecing together the incident using CCTV footage. Sandeep's body remains at the hospital pending a post-mortem and the arrival of his family members.
