In recent weeks, the negotiators from both nations have been in active discussions to sort out lingering issues. The agreed arrangement reportedly focuses on patrolling activities in the Depsang and Demchok areas.

This diplomatic breakthrough is revealed on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Russian city of Kazan for the BRICS Summit, where an unofficial meeting between Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping is anticipated.
