In a startling development, the body of 35-year-old Pradeep Vijay Bhoite was discovered in a pond in Maharashtra's Thane district on Tuesday.

The discovery was reported early in the day, mobilizing prompt action from the disaster management cell and fire brigade services, according to Civic Disaster Management Unit Chief Yasin Tadvi.

Bhoite, a Lokmanya Nagar resident, was found near the Patona Pada bus stop in the Yeur area. Currently, the police have registered a case of accidental death while awaiting post-mortem results to confirm the exact cause.
