Two individuals were reported injured and several structures sustained damage after a Russian drone assault on Ukraine’s Odesa region, according to Ukrainian officials on Sunday.

The attack, described as massive by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa, ignited fires in garages, damaged homes, shops, and other properties. Governor Oleh Kiper confirmed the occurrence of fires, but details remain scarce.

The attack's full scale is not yet determined. Emergency services videos depicted nighttime efforts by firefighters amid debris, with affected residents nearby. Russia has yet to issue a statement, although both nations deny intentionally targeting civilians, despite high civilian casualties since the war began in February 2022.
