In a significant crackdown, the Delhi Police have successfully dismantled an inter-state gun syndicate, arresting 18 members of the gang in a month-long operation named 'Eagle'.
The authorities seized four semi-automatic pistols, eight country-made pistols, a rifle, three knives, and 33 live bullets from the accused. The suspects were previously linked to over 50 criminal cases, including murder and robbery.
The operation commenced following the arrest of two men in Ghazipur, leading to further raids and the apprehension of the gang's leader, Madan, who was operating from Dasna Jail. This operation highlights the extensive reach of illegal arms networks in Delhi and NCR.
