Train Travails: Harassment on Delhi-Aligarh Route Stirs Safety Concerns

A newly married woman has accused several youths of harassment and attempted molestation during a train journey from Delhi to Aligarh, police reported on Thursday.

The couple faced violence as they attempted to defend themselves, with the husband receiving a belt thrashing when he resisted. Other passengers failed to intervene, leaving the couple without support.

The police, responding to the complaint, arrested a suspect named Jitu promptly while others remain at large. Authorities are using CCTV footage to track additional suspects involved in this alarming incident.
