The Kirti Kisan Union, a prominent farmers' organization, stepped forward with a humanitarian gesture by donating Rs 5 lakh to Palestinians amidst the ongoing conflict. This act of solidarity was facilitated through their mission in India.
A delegation from the union met with the Palestinian ambassador to India, Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazer, at the embassy in New Delhi, where they handed over the donation. The union also emphasized its call for a permanent truce in West Asia, advocating a sustainable solution to the Palestine issue through the United Nations.
During a press conference, union leaders criticized what they described as a "terrible genocide" perpetrated by Israel, allegedly supported by major powers like the US, resulting in countless civilian casualties. They depicted a poignant picture of suffering with people lacking necessities such as food, water, electricity, and medicine.
