Gold Scandal: Congress Leader's Name Misused in Fraud
D K Suresh, a Congress leader, has filed a police complaint against Aishwarya Gowda for allegedly cheating people by falsely claiming to be his relative. Gowda borrowed gold but failed to return it, misusing Suresh's name to gain trust. Both Gowda and her husband are in custody.

Congress leader D K Suresh filed a police complaint on Monday, accusing a woman of defrauding people by misusing his name in the city.
Identified as Aishwarya Gowda, the woman and her husband Harish K N were arrested following a complaint by Vanitha Aithal, the owner of Vaarahi World of Gold.
Gowda, who allegedly posed as Suresh's sister, borrowed 14.660 kg of gold from Aithal and never returned it. Suresh, in his complaint, urged strict action to prevent further fraudulent activities.
