Farm Unions Forge Path to Unity Amidst Protests

The Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Samyukta Kisan Morcha discuss unity among farmer unions to strengthen their protest against the government. Despite some factions not attending, progress was made in aligning objectives and planning future meetings. The main demand is a legal guarantee for the minimum support price for crops.

The Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) actively participated in a strategic meeting convened by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Wednesday, discussing the vital issue of union unity.

Notably absent was SKM (Non-Political), whose leadership was busy with ongoing protest activities, although significant progress was noted during the meeting.

The unions, leading protests at the Punjab and Haryana borders, are demanding a legal guarantee on the minimum support price for crops, with future sessions planned to solidify their alliance.
