Earlier this week, Vietnam, a major exporter to the U.S., was impacted by a newly enforced 25% tariff on steel imports. President Donald Trump has suggested potential reciprocal duties, which could further impact Vietnam's economy.

The foreign ministry representative emphasized Vietnam's willingness to enter into constructive talks with the U.S., striving for resolutions that benefit both nations' interests.
