Mastermind Neutralized: Key Figures in Chhattisgarh Skirmish Revealed

In a recent encounter in Chhattisgarh, security forces have neutralized 31 Naxalites, including Hunga Karma, the mastermind of a deadly IED blast. This operation marks a significant blow to the Maoists, with several key figures eliminated, although the identities of three remain unknown.

A major encounter in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur area has led to the death of 31 Naxalites, marking a significant victory for security forces. Among those killed was Hunga Karma, a key figure and mastermind behind a series of deadly attacks, including the January 6 IED blast that resulted in nine fatalities, including eight security personnel.

The operation took place on February 11 in Indravati National Park, where forces engaged with Naxal operatives, resulting in two jawan casualties. The January 6 attack involved an explosive device that devastated a vehicle nears Ambeli village, reflecting the ongoing threat posed by Naxalite groups in the region.

Inspector General of Police, Sundarraj P, elaborated on Karma's role in orchestrating past attacks and confirmed the identification of 28 ultras from the encounter. Despite the success, efforts continue to identify three remaining bodies, with authorities recovering substantial armaments throughout ongoing operations in Bastar Division.
