In a tragic accident in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli district, two people were killed when a dumper truck carrying coal overturned on their motorcycle. The incident, occurring near Amilia Ghati, prompted a violent reaction from the local community.
Superintendent of Police Manish Khatri stated that the dumper, associated with the Adani Group's mines, was transporting coal from the Gajra Bahra yard at the time of the crash. The victims have been identified as Ramlalu Yadav and Ramsagar Prajapati.
Furious locals staged protests across the Suhera, Gada Khad, and Amilia Ghati areas, setting five buses and three dumpers ablaze. Authorities managed to control the situation, preventing further escalation, and confirmed that legal action will be pursued.
