Tragic Bus Fire Claims Life on Lucknow-Agra Expressway

A 33-year-old man from Rajasthan died in a bus fire on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway while returning from the Maha Kumbh Mela. Other passengers survived. The incident occurred around 4 am, with victim Pawan Sharma trapped inside. The body was sent for post-mortem, and passengers safely rerouted.

A bus fire on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway claimed the life of a 33-year-old man from Rajasthan in the early hours of Saturday. The man, identified as Pawan Sharma from Nagaur, was returning from the famed Maha Kumbh Mela.

According to police reports, Sharma was among 52 passengers on the bus. After a dip at the Sangam, the group visited Ayodhya for darshan before departing for Nagaur. The sudden incident occurred around 4 am as the vehicle caught fire en route.

While all other passengers managed to escape, Sharma, who was asleep at the time, became trapped inside and perished. Authorities confirmed that his body has been sent for post-mortem examinations, and remaining passengers were safely transported to their destinations by an alternate bus.
