The much-anticipated 30-day budget session of the Mizoram legislative assembly began on Wednesday. Governor Vijay Kumar Singh gave his maiden address, marking a significant moment for the assembly. Chief Minister Lalduhoma, who also holds the finance portfolio, is poised to present the annual state budget for the financial year 2025-2026 on March 4.
