In a tragic incident outside a motor vehicle office in Louisville, three individuals lost their lives to a shooting. Louisville Metro Police responded to the scene around noon on Friday, finding one man dead and two women seriously wounded in the parking lot.
The two women were transported to a nearby hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries. Louisville Metro Police Department has disclosed that the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle; however, details on the vehicle are still being gathered through surveillance footage review.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear condemned the act as senseless violence. The state Driver Licensing Office, part of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, was promptly secured, ensuring the safety of all employees. The office remained closed for the day as a precautionary measure.
