Dramatic Delhi Police Shootout Foils Gang Murder Plot

Delhi Police foiled a potential gang murder by arresting three gangsters from the Himanshu Bhau-Neeraj Bawana gang after a shootout in Rohini. The gangsters, Atul, Rohit, and Prince, were intercepted following a tip-off. Seizures included firearms, and an FIR has been lodged with investigations continuing.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Delhi Police averted a potential massacre by apprehending three gangsters after a tense shootout in the Rohini region. The gangsters, affiliated with the Himanshu Bhau-Neeraj Bawana gang, were arrested with a cache of illegal weapons, thwarting their alleged plans of targeted killings in Delhi and Haryana.

The suspects — Atul, Rohit, and Prince — were intercepted near Prem Adhar Hospital, following a police tip-off about their murderous intentions. The confrontation escalated when one gangster fired at officers, striking the bulletproof vest of a constable, before being shot in the leg in self-defense. The others were swiftly detained.

Seizures included a semi-automatic pistol, country-made firearms, and ammunition, along with the motorcycle used for the planned crime. Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Bhatia confirmed that the accused had extensive criminal histories, involving violent offenses such as murder and extortion. Investigations are ongoing.
