Tragedy Strikes: Engineering Student Fatally Stabbed After Argument

An engineering student from Mizoram, V L Valentine, was allegedly stabbed to death by his college mate, Lamsang Swala. The incident occurred following an argument during a group drinking session near their institute. Valentine was rushed to hospitals but could not be saved, police reported.

An engineering student from Mizoram was tragically stabbed to death by a fellow student, also from Mizoram, near their college in Nagaroor, police officials reported on Sunday.

The victim, identified as V L Valentine, was in his fourth year at a private engineering college. His collegemate, Lamsang Swala, has been detained by authorities concerning the incident.

Police revealed that the fatal incident occurred around 10:45 pm Saturday following a drinking session that led to an argument. Valentine was stabbed during the altercation and, despite being transported to hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram, could not be saved.
