During the budget session, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar emphasized the JMM-led alliance's sweeping victory in last year's elections as a significant indicator of the coalition's popularity and governance achievements.

Opposition protests reverberated through the assembly as Gangwar discussed efforts toward inclusivity, highlighting initiatives like the Maiyan Samman Yojna and Abua Awas aimed at empowering youth, women, and marginalized communities. He addressed the administration's dedication to eradicating corruption, citing the arrest of 56 public servants.

Gangwar also shed light on the government's strong stance against Naxalite activities with over 248 arrests, while the BJP opposition maintained their critique of inaccuracies in the governor's speech, which Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato countered, emphasizing the legislative tradition of decorum.
