A Greater Noida wedding turned violent when a man allegedly fired a gun during the celebration, injuring two attendees. The police swiftly acted to arrest 23-year-old Shivam on Monday following the incident in Sakipur village.
Authorities have charged him under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and confiscated a country-made firearm. The injured victims, Santosh and Ishwar Dayal, are currently recuperating at a private hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
The incident has sparked concerns over the misuse of firearms at public events, prompting increased vigilance by law enforcement agencies in the area.
