The Jammu and Kashmir Police have made a significant move by attaching properties worth large sums in the Kupwara district, officials reported on Tuesday. These properties belong to two Pakistan-based terrorist handlers.

After securing a court order, the police attached land measuring three kanals and 12 marlas, belonging to Tahir Ahmad Peer and Mohammad Ramzan Ganie. Both individuals, originally from Kupwara, are currently residing in Pakistan.

The properties were uncovered as part of an investigation into a case that was registered back in 2011, police authorities revealed.
