Crackdown on Illegal Constructions: KDMC Official Suspended

A senior official from the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation has been suspended for failing to control illegal constructions in Ward A. The suspension follows a directive from Commissioner Dr. Indu Rani Jakhar after numerous unauthorized chawls were discovered across several areas.

A senior official of the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has been suspended due to negligence in addressing illegal constructions within a designated ward.

The illegal developments, identified as unauthorized chawls, have surfaced in multiple areas including Manda, Titwala, and Vasundri, all under the KDMC's jurisdiction. Commissioner Dr. Indu Rani Jakhar's inspection revealed the issue, prompting her to demand immediate action against the violations.

The official was suspended on Monday for not complying with superior orders to dismantle the illegal structures, as well as for breaches in office discipline, according to authorities.
