Delhi minister Parvesh Verma has announced plans to launch an investigation into the 'Sheesh Mahal' controversy surrounding former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence.
Questions have been raised over the expenditure of government funds for renovating the property, with accusations of luxury add-ons fueled by the BJP, who recently unseated the AAP in Delhi elections. The inquiry aims to scrutinize the spending and permissions granted during the renovation of the residence at 6, Flagstaff Road.
Apart from the investigation, Minister Verma conducted site visits in the Defence Colony, assessing a neglected culvert causing traffic issues. Highlighting previous administrative failures, he vowed to expedite repair efforts.
