In the wake of a tragic tunnel collapse in the Nagarkurnool district of Telangana, political tensions have intensified. BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, commonly known as KTR, condemned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for allegedly neglecting the site where eight individuals remain trapped.
According to Rama Rao, the rescue operations, involving Army, Navy, Rat Miners, and NDRF teams, lacked preliminary consultations with geological and engineering experts. He criticized the government's oversight and accused the Chief Minister of focusing on electoral campaigns instead of the crisis.
Telangana state Congress President B Mahesh Kumar Goud countered the allegations, asserting that the Chief Minister has been actively monitoring the situation since the tragedy struck on February 22. He highlighted efforts to bring in external experts to aid the rescue mission and reiterated the CM's commitment to resolving the crisis.
