In a shocking turn of events, a 30-year-old man was allegedly killed by the husband of his live-in partner in Rajasthan's Udaipur district. The crime took place on Sunday afternoon, police revealed.

The grim incident unfolded in the Paaneriya ki Madari area, where Jitendra Meena, from Dungarpur district, was residing with his partner, Dimple, in rented accommodations. Station House Officer Bharat Yogi confirmed that CCTV footage captured Dimple and her husband, Narsi, fleeing the scene after the attack.

Both the victim and his partner were employed at a private hospital, where Jitendra worked as a compounder and Dimple as a nurse. Police are intensifying their search for the absconding accused couple to ascertain the motive behind the murder. Jitendra's body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
