Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves Landmark Proposals for Development

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved 19 key proposals, including initiatives in agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure. In a significant move towards state development, the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet sanctioned 19 proposals this Monday, covering diverse sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna highlighted the wheat procurement initiative, scheduled from March 17 to June 15, with 6,500 centers to be set up across the state at an MSP of Rs 2,425 per quintal. Key land transfers for medical education and industrial development also received approval.

Additional decisions included the cessation of certain stamp papers to avoid misuse, permanent employment status for long-time workers at the Council of Science and Technology, and the establishment of a Defense Testing and Innovation Support facility, indicating a robust push towards progress across multiple sectors.
