Additional District Government Counsel Hari Om Prakash Saini confirmed the decision, stating that the bail pleas were dismissed by Additional District Judge Nirbhay Narayan Rai. The prosecution emphasized the violence's severity, mentioning four fatal casualties and injuries among several police and administrative staff.

Saini elaborated that the accused had been identified via video evidence, accused of stone-pelting, firing, and hindering government work, with weapons recovered from them. The uproar began during a court-ordered survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid, amid allegations about its historical origins and led to bloody clashes that compelled a strong police response.
