An Uzbek woman, Egamberdieva Zebo, 43, was discovered deceased in a Lucknow hotel room, prompting an investigation by local authorities. The incident occurred in the Vibhutikhand area, where Zebo had been staying alone since March 5 after the departure of her companion, a Delhi resident named Satnam Singh.

The discovery followed a distress call to emergency services reporting her unresponsive state in Room 109 of Hotel Atithi Inn. Despite immediate medical attention at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, she was declared dead upon arrival.

Police inquiries uncovered that Zebo and Singh had initially checked into the hotel together on March 2. The police have taken custody of the body for a post-mortem examination, with ongoing legal proceedings to determine the cause of death.
