Tragic Bludgeoning in Gurugram: A Chilling Midnight Attack

A 28-year-old man named Neeraj was killed while sleeping at his home in Gurugram. The suspect, Sanjay, was captured by Neeraj's family after attempting to flee. Police have arrested Sanjay, an alcohol addict, and recovered the bat used in the murder. The motive remains unknown.

In a grim incident from Gurugram, a 28-year-old man named Neeraj was bludgeoned to death with a bat while he slept in the early hours of Tuesday. The alleged attacker, identified as Sanjay, was apprehended while attempting to escape the scene and has since been arrested by police.

The victim's sister reported that she heard a noise around 2:30 am, which led her to discover Sanjay attacking Neeraj with a bat. She quickly raised an alarm, prompting neighbors to intervene and detain the assailant. An FIR has been filed at the Sadar police station.

The cricket bat used in the murder has been recovered, but the motive behind this violent act is yet to be determined, police said. Sanjay is reportedly an alcohol addict and hails from the Damoh district in Uttar Pradesh.
