High-Tech Heist: Car Thieves Busted in Delhi

Delhi Police arrested three members of a gang responsible for stealing 90 to 100 high-end cars in 10 months. The gang, led by Ravi, used advanced technology to override car security systems. Police recovered some stolen vehicles and tools. Kalu, another member, remains at large.

In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police apprehended three individuals associated with a sophisticated car theft operation in the national capital, as confirmed on Wednesday.

The arrests of Monu, Vishal, and gang leader Ravi unveiled a 10-month crime spree involving the theft of 90 to 100 high-end vehicles. The group specifically targeted brands such as Hyundai Creta, Maruti Brezza, and Toyota Fortuner, strategically stealing them from locations near parks and gyms.

Utilizing advanced technology like On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) systems and Chinese-made X-Tool scanners, the gang bypassed vehicle security in minutes. Despite the recovery of several cars and arrest of key members, another suspect, Kalu, is still at large.
