Tragic Collision: Two Lives Lost in Odisha Motorcycle Accident

Two youths lost their lives in a tragic motorcycle collision with a tractor in Odisha's Bhadrak district. The accident occurred on Aradi-Bhadrak highway, with one youth dying instantly and the other succumbing to injuries en route to the hospital. Investigations are ongoing.

A tragic road accident claimed the lives of two young individuals in Odisha's Bhadrak district on Wednesday. According to police, their motorcycle collided with a tractor near Dohara Balighata on the Aradi-Bhadrak state highway.

The impact of the collision was so severe that one of the riders, aged 20, died instantly, while the other, aged 22, succumbed to injuries while being transported to the hospital by local residents, confirmed Santanu Jena, officer in-charge of Dhusuri police station.

The riders were identified as Chandan Jena from Telasadumuka village and Shiba Jena from Bajarapat village. Meanwhile, the tractor driver fled the scene post-collision, and law enforcement has launched an investigation to determine the cause.
