A tragedy unfolded in Jaipur as a 35-year-old police constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging from the staircase railing of a local police station. The incident was confirmed by local officials on Wednesday.

A purported suicide note, discovered on the officer's bed, suggested that the constable, Hariom Chaudhary, was grappling with health problems. According to Station House Officer Ramesh Meena, Chaudhary was last seen by fellow officers around 1 am, and his body was found in the morning.

Chaudhary, who joined the police force in 2008, was handed over to his family after a postmortem. Further investigations are underway to fully understand the circumstances surrounding his tragic decision.
