Tragic Loss: ASI Killed in Rash Driving Mishap

In a tragic turn of events, Assistant Sub-Inspector Satyavir Singh of the Delhi Police met an untimely death in a road accident on Friday night. The incident occurred while Singh was on duty, rushing to respond to an urgent Police Control Room call about another mishap.

This unfortunate event marks the second time in six months that the Delhi Police has lost a brave member of its force due to the reckless negligence of other drivers, according to Deputy Commissioner Raja Banthia. Singh, a dedicated officer since 1989, was just a few years away from retirement.

An investigation is currently underway, and the Wazirabad police have registered a case. The body has been moved to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital for a post-mortem. Singh leaves behind a wife, a son, and a differently-abled daughter.
