Heist at Delhi Airport: Employees Arrested for Theft

Authorities have detained two employees from the Delhi airport after they allegedly stole USD 2,500 from a passenger's bag, according to police reports released on Thursday.
The suspects, identified as Junior Manager Gaurav Kumar, 38, and Operator Prakash Chand, 59, worked at the Lost and Found Department of Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL).
The theft was uncovered after a US citizen, Roshan Patel, who had misplaced her bag, retrieved it but discovered the cash missing, prompting a police investigation. Surveillance footage captured Kumar and Chand as they schemed to pocket the money, leading to their arrest.
