Unveiling the Attackers: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Quest for Justice

The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa identified the suicide bombers involved in recent attacks in Darul Uloom Haqqania and Bannu cantonment. Investigations continue, revealing the use of foreign weapons. Sixteen attackers were killed, and compensation was provided to victims' families. Over 100 suspects were arrested in the Kurram disturbances.

The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have successfully identified the suicide bombers responsible for the attacks at Darul Uloom Haqqania and Bannu cantonment, according to the province's police chief. Ongoing investigations have unveiled crucial details.

Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed confirmed the acquisition of CCTV footage, aiding the identification of the bombers through their body parts. Notably, the Bannu attack involved foreign weapons, resulting in the deaths of five soldiers and 13 civilians. Additionally, 16 attackers were killed during the incident earlier this month.

Efforts are underway to trace the origins of the bombers and their entry routes. Families of the deceased in Bannu have received compensation of PKR 1 million each. Over 100 suspects linked to Kurram disturbances have been apprehended. The province is implementing a new strategy to counter terrorism, with the Safe City Project set for completion soon.
