Ukraine Under Attack: Russia's Overnight Drone Assault
Russia launched 139 drones and one ballistic missile in an overnight attack on Ukraine, injuring two and damaging infrastructure. The Ukrainian air force intercepted a significant portion, but some drones caused fires and damage to facilities. Talks of a ceasefire had occurred just before the attack.

In a significant overnight offensive, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia unleashed 139 drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile, resulting in injuries to two individuals and damage to critical infrastructure.
The Air Force managed to neutralize a substantial number, shooting down 78 drones, while 34 others went astray. The remaining drones and the missile's fate remain undisclosed.
This offensive comes hot on the heels of international discussions for peace, as Russian representatives met U.S. officials in Saudi Arabia the day before to discuss a potential ceasefire in their ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
