The Ukrainian air force reported downing 42 of the 86 drones launched, suggesting electronic countermeasures prevented 26 others from reaching targets. Governor Oleh Syniehubov highlighted damage to private homes, an apartment building, cars, and a production facility, echoing fears of repeated military incursions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy criticized discussions of lifting sanctions on Russia, stating such measures were inappropriate. Meanwhile, tensions continue as separate agreements aim to pause attacks on energy targets, but dialogue from both sides indicates persistent discord.
