Madhya Pradesh Honors Fallen Officer with Rs 1 Crore Cheque

In a solemn ceremony, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended financial support to the family of fallen sub inspector Ramcharan Gautam, who tragically lost his life during a mob attack in Mauganj district on March 15.
The incident occurred while Gautam was courageously leading a rescue operation in Gadra village. As part of the state's initiative, Yadav presented a cheque amounting to Rs 1 crore to Gautam's wife as a tribute to his sacrifice and conferred the title of 'martyr' upon him.
The SBI Police Salary Package Scheme facilitated this insurance provision, alongside multiple benefits including accident insurance. The government promises a job for a family member, continuing its support for Gautam's kin.
