In a move against cross-border terrorism, India's 'Operation Sindoor' launched precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation, which occurred two weeks after the Pahalgam attack, targeted key locations, including Jaish-e-Mohammad's base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's Muridke stronghold.

The military actions were lauded by political leaders, with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati highlighting the operation's strategic importance. Akhilesh Yadav praised the bravery of the armed forces, while Mayawati deemed the action 'glorious and praiseworthy.'

Samajwadi Party MP Afzal Ansari called for more decisive action from the Modi government, suggesting lessons from history and urging for the annexation of PoK. He emphasized the need for continuous vigilance to dismantle what he referred to as Pakistan's 'evil designs' in the region.
