Sitharaman, a former defense minister, commended India's action, declaring, "Operation Sindoor is a strong response by the Indian Army—targeting terror hubs in Pakistan. India shall never tolerate terrorism. Under PM Narendra Modi's leadership, we will pursue every perpetrator of terror," she stated on X.

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje emphasized the significance of women officers addressing the press about the operation, highlighting India's female empowerment.
