A special court convened for current and former MPs and MLAs to address the ongoing MUDA case expressed dissatisfaction with how the Lokayukta Investigation Officer managed adjournment requests. Judge Santhosh Gajanan Bhat noted that a document was submitted in a sealed cover but criticized the adjournment's presentation.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathi B M, and her brother Mallikarjuna Swamy face allegations in the controversial MUDA case. It centers on accusations of inappropriate site allotment in an upscale Mysuru area. The complainant has vehemently opposed delays, citing unnecessary procedural stagnation.
The court has acknowledged these concerns and emphasized the need for comprehensive examination of the B-report post-investigation. Awaiting further evidence, the court scheduled the next hearing for May 29, allowing the investigating body additional time, despite objections from the complainant.
