Testing Readiness: Mock Drills for Emergency Response

Mock drills were conducted at various locations in Dehradun to assess the preparedness of the emergency response system in the event of air strikes. The drills aimed to enhance public awareness on safety measures, with officials monitoring and coordinating from the State Emergency Operations Centre.

Dehradun witnessed a series of carefully orchestrated mock drills aimed at evaluating the current emergency response system against potential air strike threats.

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan emphasized that these drills serve to confirm the readiness of public safety mechanisms without spreading unwarranted panic among citizens.

The exercises were closely supervised by key officials, including Secretary Home Shailesh Bagauli and Director General of Police Deepam Seth, from the State Emergency Operations Centre.
