A chilling incident surfaced in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district as authorities discovered the lifeless body of a village leader. Manjit Haiburu, the victim, was identified by locals after being reported missing from Basahatu village on Sunday.
The body, found with its throat slit at Basa Gamahria village, was discovered by villagers on Monday morning, prompting an immediate police response. Mrinal Kumar, the in-charge of Pandrasali outpost, led the investigation, arranging for a post-mortem to glean further insights into the tragic event.
