The Bombay High Court sharply criticized a father's actions during a custody dispute, calling his decision to take his minor daughter from her estranged mother's care 'unconscionable.'

During the hearing of a habeas corpus petition filed by the mother, the father appeared in court denying any use of force. However, the court was displeased with his conduct.

Emphasizing the potential trauma inflicted on the child, Justices Kamal Khata and Arif Doctor instructed the father to immediately return the child to her mother, while permitting him to visit every Saturday.
